What Is the Teko Hover Scrubber Omni?
The Teko Hover Scrubber Omni is a cordless, rechargeable electric floor mop designed to replace the traditional mop and bucket. Marketed as a “hover” scrubber, it utilizes dual rotating heads to glide across hard surfaces, theoretically doing the heavy lifting for you.
Online, the product is presented as a sleek, lightweight (under 3 lbs) cleaning system. It typicall Synoshi Pro | Synoshi Pro y comes with a variety of attachments, including:

- Chenille “noodle” pads: For absorbing larger spills and wet messes.
- Extension handle: A 49-inch reach designed to reduce the need for bending.
- Optional Power Pack: Some versions include specialized grout brushes and baseboard cleaners.
It is primarily marketed as a versatile tool for hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl, and even vertical surfaces like shower walls or windows.
Marketing Claims & How It’s Supposed to Work

Key Advertised Features:
- Cordless Convenience: A Li-ion battery (2000mAh) provides freedom of movement without hunting for outlets.
- Adjustable Ergonomics: The long handle aims to protect the user’s back and knees by eliminating the need to scrub on the floor.
- Long Run Time: Many advertisements claim up to 60 minutes of continuous cleaning on a single charge.
- Multi-Surface Safety: The manufacturer states the microfiber pads are safe for delicate surfaces like sealed hardwood and natural stone.
Independent Evidence & Red Flags
While the marketing videos are impressive, it is important to look at the independent data. The Teko Hover Scrubber Omni lacks third-party clinical certifications for “sanitization” (it is not a steam mop), so its efficacy relies entirely on the mechanical friction of the pads and whatever cleaning solution you choose to use.

- Not a Deep-Cleaner: It is important to remember this is a “scrubber” and “mop,” not a vacuum. It will not pick up solid debris like cereal or large dirt clumps; those must be swept up beforehand.
