What Is th 3873 Grand Ave - Electronics, Appliances & More - Best Buy e Hover Scrubber Cordless Dual Head Mop?
The Hover Scrubber is an electric, rechargeable floor cleaner designed specifically for hard surfaces. Unlike a traditional mop that requires manual force, this tool uses two motorized, counter-rotating heads to “hover” across the floor while scrubbing.
It typically arrives as a multi-piece kit that includes:
- The Power Head: A motorized base with dual spinning disks.
- Telescoping Handle: An adjustable extension pole to help reach under furniture or high up on walls.
- Interchangeable Pads: Usually a mix of microfiber pads for standard mopping and “chenille” or “scouring” pads for heavier messes.
- Rechargeable Battery: A built-in or detachable lithium-ion battery designed for cordless mobility.
While it looks somewhat like a stick vacuum, it does not have suction. It is strictly a mechanical scrubber and polisher for tile, wood, laminate, and stone surfaces.

- The Positives: Users frequently praise how easy it is to maneuver. For senior citizens or those with limited mobility, the fact that the mop “walks itself” across the floor is a major benefit. It is also surprisingly effective at buffing hardwood floors to a high shine when used with a dry or slightly damp pad.
- The Challenges: The most common complaint involves the “power wedge” or the center gap between the two spinning heads. Occasionally, small debris can be missed if it isn’t caught by the pads. Additionally, the pads require frequent washing if you are cleaning a particularly large or dirty area to avoid simply spreading the grime around.
