The Positive
Users with large, open-concept tiled areas or finished garages report high satisfaction. They note that the “scrub and dry” in one pass is the biggest benefit—no more waiting an hour for the floor to air dry. For those with chronic back pain, the pad-assist feature is often cited as a lifesaver, as the machine does the “pushing” for you.
The Cautionary
Renters or owners of smaller homes often find the machine “overkill.” Common complaints include the difficulty of cleaning the recovery tank (it must be rinsed thoroughly to avoid odors) and the fact that the machine requires a dedicated storage footprint roughly the size of a large lawnmower. Some users also noted that on highly textured stone, the squeegee may struggle to pick up 100% of the water in deep crevices.
