What Is the Crown G17 Corded Automatic Floor Scrubber?

The Crown G17 Corded Automatic Floor Scrubber is a motorized cleaning tool designed to tackle hard surfaces throughout the home. Unlike the smaller, cordless “spin scrubbers” often seen in social media ads, the G17 is a more robust, corded unit. It typically features a high-torque motor, a 17-inch cleaning path, and a walk-behind or heavy-duty handheld design depending on the specific model variation being marketed.

In its online presentation, the G17 is shown as a versatile solution for floors, large walk-in showers, and even garage spaces. Because it is corded, it eliminates the common “dead battery” frustration found in portable models, promising consistent power for as long as you need to clean. It usually comes equipped with a set of interchangeable brush heads and pads designed for different textures, from smooth linoleum to porous tile.

Manufacturers of the Crown G17 often highlight several key benefits to appeal to homeowners looking for a “professional grade” clean:

• Deep Cleaning Power: The primary claim is that the high-speed rotation and downward pressure of the G17 can lift stains that manual mopping leaves behind.

• Ergonomic Maintenance: By using a walk-behind or extension-handle system, the G17 is advertised to save your back and knees by removing the need to bend or kneel.

• Continuous Power: Unlike battery-operated units, the corded design is marketed for “unlimited” runtime, making it suitable for larger homes or deep-cleaning sessions.

• Versatile Attachments: Most packages include multiple brush types—such as a dome brush for curved surfaces, a flat brush for large floors, and a corner brush for tight crevices.

• Waterproof Construction: The scrubbing head is typically rated for wet environments, allowing it to be used alongside liquid cleaners and water.
