The Cuisipro Magnetic Spot Scrubber enters the market as a specialized solution for these “impossible” cleaning tasks. But is this compact gadget a game-changer for your kitchen, or is it just another novelty item? In this 2026 review, we’ll break down the performance, real user feedback, and whether this tool is a “scam or legit” addition to your cleaning arsenal.
What Is the Cuisipro Magnetic Spot Scrubber?
The Cuisipro Magnetic Spot Scrubber is a two-piece cleaning tool designed specifically for glassware with narrow necks or irregular shapes. Unlike the bulky electric spin scrubbers used for bathroom grout or tiles, this is a manual, precision-based device.
It consists of:

- The Handle: A matching magnetic knob that you hold on the outside of the glass.
When you drop the scrubber into a vessel with soapy water, the handle “locks” onto it through the glass, allowing you to move the internal scrubber simply by sliding the handle across the exterior surface. It is marketed primarily for decanters, vases, baby bottles, and even small fish tanks.

- Magnet Strength: While effective for standard glassware, some users find the magnetic bond can break if moved too quickly or if used on exceptionally thick, double-walled industrial glass.
- Manual Effort: There is no motor. If you are looking for a device that does the scrubbing work for you, this may not meet your expectations. It relies entirely on your hand movement.

It is frequently cited as a “lifesaver” for removing red wine rings and white mineral scales that have sat at the bottom of glassware for months.
- The Cons: Some feedback mentions that the scrubber can be difficult to “retrieve” if the magnet disconnects in a very deep vessel—though usually, you can just tilt the container to slide it out. Others have noted that for very oily residues (like old salad dressing bottles), the silicone nubs may need multiple passes or a very strong degreasing soap to be effective.
Ultimately, the consensus is that the results depend heavily on the cleaning solution used and the patience of the user.

Conclusion: Scam or Legit?
So, is the Cuisipro Magnetic Spot Scrubber a scam? No—it is a legitimate, specialty cleaning tool. However, it is not a “magic” solution for every cleaning job in the house. It won’t scrub your bathtub or polish your floors, but it does exactly what it claims: it cleans the inside of glass containers that are otherwise unreachable.
Its strength lies in its simplicity and its ability to save expensive glassware from being thrown away due to permanent-looking stains. For a low price point, it provides a functional solution to a very specific, annoying problem.
