- Battery Degradation: In refurbished units, the lithium-ion battery may have already undergone several charge cycles, potentially leading to a shorter runtime than a brand-new unit.
- Pressure Sensitivity: A common consumer complaint is that the motor may stall or “bog down” if you apply too much physical pressure. The device is designed to let the spinning do the work, not your weight.

After 30 days of testing and analyzing community feedback, the consensus on the Homitt Electric Spin Scrubber Refurbished is largely positive but grounded in reality.
The Good:
Users frequently report that for maintenance cleaning—the weekly wipe-down of a shower or tile floor—it is an excellent tool. It excels at removing “fresh” soap scum and surface grime from fiberglass tubs. Renters especially appreciate how it brightens up old tile without requiring harsh chemicals or intense labor.
The Cautionary:
For “set-in” stains or heavy calcium buildup that has lived on a surface for years, the scrubber is not a magic wand. Real-world feedback suggests you still need a high-quality cleaning solution (like a vinegar mix or commercial spray) to act as a catalyst. Some users also noted that the extension pole can feel slightly “wobbly” when fully extended, requiring a two-handed grip for stability.
