Unlike a traditional mop that requires you to apply downward pressure and physical force, this device uses dual counter-rotating brush heads to “hover” across the floor, lifting dirt as it moves.
Marketed primarily through television segments and online retailers like QVC, the product usually arrives as a kit. A typical package includes:
- The main power unit with a motorized base.
- An adjustable extension handle for reaching high or low spots.
- Multiple sets of interchangeable pads (ranging from soft microfiber to heavy-duty chenille).
- A charging cable for its internal battery.
While it looks like a high-tech mop, it is essentially a handheld power scrubber on a stick, aimed at making floor and wall maintenance more ergonomic.

Potential Red Flags to Keep in Mind:
- Battery Longevity: Like many cordless appliances, the lithium-ion battery has a finite lifespan. Some users report that the “runtime” (usually 30–50 minutes) may decrease after a year of heavy use.
- No Internal Water Tank: Most versions of this mop do not have a built-in spray mechanism. User Experience & Real-World Feedback
User reports from 2026 show a polarized but generally positive experience, provided expectations are managed.
The Positive:
Many users, particularly those with back or joint pain, rave about how easy the mop is to move. One common sentiment in hover scrubber deluxe mop reviews is that it’s excellent for “maintenance cleaning”—keeping floors shiny and pet-hair-free throughout the week without the dread of a deep-clean session.
The Cautionary:
On the flip side, some users note that it struggles with “textured” floors. If your tile has deep, irregular grout lines, the flat pads might skip over the recessed areas. Others have mentioned that the charging port can be sensitive and requires careful handling to ensure a long-term connection.
Pro Tip: Real-world feedback suggests that using the “chenille” (shaggy) pads is much more effective for picking up debris, while the flat microfiber pads are better for polishing and buffing.
