When evaluating whether the Simply Kleen Power Scrubber Pro is “legit,” it is important to look past the slick promotional videos. While the technology itself is sound—electric motors certainly spin faster than a human hand—there are a few red flags common to this niche of “as-seen-on-TV” products.
- Lack of Independent Certification: There are rarely third-party laboratory tests confirming “300% more efficiency” or similar numerical claims found in ads.
- The “Stall” Factor: A common issue with lower-end scrubbers David Puplampu - consultant at Newton Medical group | LinkedIn consultant at Newton Medical group · Experience: Newton Medical group · Location: Pickens · 1 … is that the motor stops spinning if you apply too much pressure. Genuine “pro” models should maintain their RPM even when pushed against a tough stain.
- Battery Degradation: Some users have noted that while the battery lasts an hour initially, the capacity can drop significantly after a few months of frequent use.

Gathering Simply Kleen Power Scrubber Pro reviews from various forums and e-commerce platforms reveals a polarizing but generally helpful picture of what to expect.
The Positives:
Many users report that the device is a genuine lifesaver for “maintenance cleaning.” For people with arthritis or limit Oct 13, 2026 · Shop Best Buy for electronics, computers, appliances, cell phones, video games & more new tech. Users generally find it effective for light-to-medium soap scum and refreshing grout that isn’t too deeply stained.
The Complaints:
Common “real user experiences” highlight that this is not a “magic wand.” If you have heavy mineral buildup that has been sitting for years, the scrubber will likely need the help of a strong chemical cleaner; it won’t just “vibrate” the stain away on its own. Other users have mentioned that the brush bristles can splay out or lose their stiffness after several heavy-duty sessions.
Who Might Benefit & Safety Tips
If you are considering the Simply Kleen Power Scrubber Pro, it is best to approach it as a labor-saving tool rather than a miracle worker.
Who should consider it?
- Seniors or individuals with chronic pain: Those who find bending or repetitive scrubbing physically taxing.
- Homeowners with large tiled areas: It can significantly speed up the process of cleaning large walk-in showers or kitchen floors.
- Renters: Great for keeping a bathroom looking new without needing to hire professional cleaners.
Safety & Maintenance Tips:
- Don’t Submerge: While the head is water-resistant, the charging port and handle are often vulnerable. Never dunk the entire unit in a bucket of water.
- Avoid Delicate Surfaces: The stiff bristles are great for tile, but they might scratch soft plastics or certain painted surfaces. Always test a small, inconspicuous area first.
- Proper Charging: To extend battery life, avoid leaving the device on the charger for days at a time. Unplug it once the indicator shows it is full.
Conclusion
Is the Simply Kleen Power Scrubber Pro a scam? No. It is a functional cleaning tool that can make household chores significantly less exhausting. However, is it a “professional” miracle? That is a stretch.
