What Is the SKIL PWRCORE 20 Electric Power Scrubber?
The SKIL PWRCORE 20 Electric Power Scrubber is a cordless, battery-powered cleaning tool designed to automate heavy scrubbing tasks. Unlike small handheld dish scrubbers, this model features a telescoping handle and a pivoting head, allowing you to reach high shower walls or low floor tiles without bending or straining.
Marketed as a versatile home maintenance tool, it bridges the gap between a standard household cleaner and a light-duty power tool. It utilizes the same 20V Lithium battery platform found in SKIL’s power drills and saws, which provides a significant jump in power compared to the smaller AA or internal-battery scrubbers often seen in late-night infomercials.

- IPX7 Waterproof Rating: The scrubbing head is rated for submersion, meaning you can dunk it into a bucket of soapy water or use it in a wet shower without damaging the intern Oct 13, 2026 · Best Buy | Official Online Store | Shop Now & Save Shop Best Buy for electronics, computers, appliances, cell phones, video games & more new tech. One point of note is that while the head is waterproof (IPX7), the battery compartment is only “water-resistant.” Users should be careful not to fully submerge the handle or the battery area. Additionally, some consumers have noted that while the motor has “guts,” the brushes themselves can wear down quickly if used on very abrasive surfaces like concrete or brick.
Another potential red flag for some is the weight. At over 4 lbs (without the battery), it is heavier than budget-friendly plastic scrubbers. While this weight helps apply downward pressure, it may be fatiguing for users with limited upper-body strength during extended overhead c Oct 12, 2026 · Best Buy | Official Online Store | Shop Now & Save Shop Best Buy for electronics, computers, appliances, cell phones, video games & more new tech.
